Alec's Story
Alec created a great story about Karma, the Red Tailed Hawk. Just like all the other kids in the Roadside Project, he created his story using Photostory, a free tool you can download yourself to create your own story!

Roadside Heritage invites kids like you from local communities to help collect interviews with local experts, scientists, and colorful characters. Fun for the whole family

The Roadside Heritage crew travels in and around the 395 corridor with fun science activities for all ages. We make learning about the natural forces that shaped our region fun! Join us at our next festival.

Mountain Building.

Use interactive models to experiment with the forces that shaped and formed the eastern Sierra.


Mountain Climates.

Use a cloud machine and a model of the Sierran mountain range to experiment with weather patterns on a mountain. Explore the principles behind cloud formation and condensation with hands-on models.
